The Carved Book Landscapes of Guy Laramée

The human spirit transcends the known through the work of Guy Laramée the Montreal based artist who pushes the materiality of the common book to the limit. Continuing the lines drawn by Caspar Friedrich and Gerhard Richter, Laramée admits to his attraction to spirituality. He combines the old philosophies of Asian arts and Zen and draws energy from Romanticism. Yatzer caught up with the artist to discover his approaches to his practice and discussed human primitiveness, sand-blasting and artistic freedom…

So dope

I had a dream last night that Jesus finally resurrected and when white people found out he wasn’t white they arrested him for 2000 something years of tax evasion

warning for jumpscare in notifications

Tumblr is putting this “what are you afraid of” thing in your notifications on your dash. It’s an ad.

It goes to previews for a horror movie called Poltergeist and is 100% a screamer with creepy imagery and jump scares. Be warned. Thanks staff, not like epileptic/seizure disorder/mentally ill people are gonna suffer from that garbage at all. You continue to run the most abysmal and ill conceived website I’ve ever had the misfortune of liking.

Today would have been Mike Brown’s 19th birthday.

my dad just walked in, asked me “what do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?” and left

next-level dad joke.
